I've fallen in love

with turkeys! I picked up some eggs from fellow TAS member, Rosie Posie and met her turkeys. They were adorable. The closest I'd got to one before was on the dinner table at christmas. The stag was ugly/cute and very friendly. A big thanks to Rosie Posie for the eggs and to Mr Rosie Posie for showing me round.
Silly Spangled Appenzellers, Dutch bantams, Lavender Araucanas, a turkey called Alistair, Muscovy ducks and Jimmy the Fell pony. No pig left in the freezer, we ate him all!

The only drawback to turkeys I've found is they have such "human" eyes :-\  I have to go into robot- mode to dispatch them.
