At the moment the OH has been dumping the chook poop next to his shed and so started a compost heap - however we will be needing to move the chicken run to its new permanent home in the spring, which looks like its going to be next to the shed and compost. Will the chickens be ok right next to their decomposting poo - are there health concerns for kids as well, from composting poo?
