tas secret santa ~what you get?
« on: November 05, 2009, 10:07:53 pm »
anyone interested in doing a secret santa ?

spend £5.00 (not inc postage)
homemade allowed

if so you need to pm me your address (and possible post up a wishlist?)

Linz

The only limitation is your own imagination for gifts .

Am thinking sign up by the 20th of Nov ? (that give a 2 and a bit weeks to get stuff together before the meet up, and 4ish week for last postage to the uk)

Last post day are 18th Dec for 2nd class
Last post day are 21st Dec for 1st class. not sure about standard parcel at the moment.

Linz

on the 21st i was gona randomly put people together (i wasn't gona pair people up as if an odd number then someone will get missed)
I gona do it that everyone gave me the presents on the day, aslong as their partner is gona be at the event (other wise i'll have to post the rest)then i had them out so the reciever doesn't know who gave them the item until it opened.

If people can send me their address if they arn't gona be at the event then i can pass the address one to your secret santas.
(does that make sences?)

You need to put all participating names in a hat and draw them out two at a time - then put the list on here at the closing date.  The two drawn against each other send a gift to each other.

Could we take all presents to Glasgow on the 7th, put them all on a table, and everyone
thats there and in takes a present that they did not wrap.

Then only the ones that are left need to be posted.

Wish list
Anything except food or chocolate.
Not heavy - plane restrictions on baggage  ;D

That's a good idea.  I think we might need to pair up the others though so they know who to send to.
