Want to click on like

So why is it that, when I do, if I then click on back to return to the earlier page, the 'like' disappears? Do I really need to go into Forum and back into the section I'm in to read the next post?

Don't worry, your 'like' is still there.  It's just that when you click back, it re-loads the previous page sort of before you clicked on 'like'.  If you go back into the post you liked initially, I'm pretty sure you'll find you still like it!?

What Womble said. On many browsers clicking back will load a cached copy of the page you were previously on, which is like going back in time.

The answer is to not use the back button, or have faith that the 'Like' was recorded.  :)
