Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Sunday's pub-lunch roast was dismal - a small discount was offered having expressed disappointment. I've now decided to never go for a "Sunday lunch" ever again unless it is actually described as a "carvery" which infers freshly roasted/cooked ingredients.  That said, I can recall some lovely lovely plated "lunches" at the Polgooth Inn and the Kings Head in Ruan Lanihorne if you are ever visiting mid Cornwall.
For consistent quality, Bodmin Golf Club offers a decent Sunday carvery roast (if they have re-opened post-Covid).
While I dislike queuing for a "carvery", I hate paying for a dismal over-priced pre-plated meal even more.

(I have no association with any of the venues mentioned above.)

I offer for the word association:

carvery
