Well it started well... Then I spent several hours in A & E after falling on the pavement, I had only just got my new glasses from the opticians (reading I might add). ;D
Well to cut a long story short. They gave me a nice dose of gas & air put my thumb back into place as I had disclocated it and then sent me on my merry way. :excited: It is rather painful at the moment. :(
All in all a great day. :roflanim:

It's Blue Monday today, apparently.
Poor you, hope your thumb feels better in the morning

Trim up a few sheep feet and you'll feel fine :roflanim: :roflanim: ..... only joking. Glass or two of wine might help ;)

Ouch!
I'm glad it was mended so quickly, but I think you might need some liquid anaesthetic tonight ;)
-
Not good. Hope it feels better soon.

At the moment it is twice the size of my other thumb. Drugged up with painkillers and hoping to sleep tonight. :fc: Driving is out as can't take the handbrake on and off which could be a bit hair raising around here. :P So hubby can drive for a change.
Wine would be good, but better not mix with the painkillers, but there again I might not feel a thing. ;D

One glass shouldn't hurt - depending on the size of the glass. ;)

Ouch!! I can relate to how you feel. Just a year ago, I came off my mountain bike on a patch of black ice going down hill. Landed with a thud, and discolated my second finger at the knuckle. Had gas and air too, and a nurse put my finger back into place. Have to be honest, and say it does hurt for a while.....and difficult to do day to day things too. They strapped my finger to the first finger, to keep it still. Had weeks of physio too,

:bouquet: Hope you managed to get a good night's sleep and that it feels a bit easier today :-*

Sorry to hear about your fall Karen. I hope the thumb isn't feeling too bad this morning although I suspect it will take a fair few days before it starts to calm down.
I hope you wern't planning anything too strenuous.

Well I'm up and running today. Delegation is the word. I supervise he works.
The two goats had their feet trimmed and two dogs went for their annual vaccination. Goat house & 3 chicken sheds cleaned along with the goose house. ;D
Recoperation is the name of the game.
Seriously it's quite a bit better today, just having to watch what I do or it hurts like mad. ::)

That sounds like me on a normal day :roflanim:
Glad you are feeling better though. I was going to give the thumbs up emoticon but perhaps thats not appropriate ;D

I'll give the  hope the poorly one is working 100 % soon.
Why do men work so much more productively when they have a woman supervising :roflanim:
anti- inflamatory meds and a glass of wine and you'll sleep a treat :fc:
