ive been saving all summer for a small woodburner for my kitchen, my old house is very cold in the winter and i didnt want to be scraping ice from the insides of the windows again this year, so, off i went to the shop with 200 nicker in my pocket, paid for the burner and went to the depot to have it loaded. and came home with a £500 burner that they had loaded by mistake, so instead of 5kw to warm us this winter i now have 13kw!
result!! ;D

Well done ;D I daresay that notice that says "Please check your change before leaving etc......" works both ways!!

Well done get it fitted quick, that will heat the whole house let alone the kitchen. Enjoy.

Sounds like a great piece of luck - whenever I get a big piece of luck, especially if several things go really well in one day, I go and buy a lottery ticket! After Meg's wonderful piglets, I actually won £10. Which makes £15 I've won on the lottery in my whole life! (Previous was half-shares in a tenner in, um, 1998 or 1999 I think...)

good idea sally! thanks :D

Something similar happened to my brother in PC World. He was buying his daughter a laptop for uni and the salesman tried to give him a much more expensive one. When my brother said, "That's not the one we looked at." the salesman was adamant it was in a 'what do you know anyway?' tone of voice. My brother worked in IT for thirty years - he did know. Result? One expensive laptop for the price of a cheap one.

I love that story, MGoM.

Er maybe you can't but I can! ;D
Glad you are pleased with it. I am so very glad I got mine. Previously I had an open fire and it took about 6 hours to put out any heat, the woodburner does it in about 6 minutes!
