Chris Smyth, Barony Flock, has suggested on the RFBS Facebook page that there might be a demand for a new group to support Ryeland and Coloured Ryeland sheep in Scotland. Currently, we all join the RFBS (and this wouldn't change) but there are various "local" support groups - Scotland is currently served by the Northern Ryeland Group, which rarely has anything north of Yorkshire.

If you have Ryelands and / or CR and are in Scotland, and would be interested in a Scottish group, can you email Chris or join the RFBS and express an interest.

For the avoidance of doubt, breeders of any nationality will be able to join - you just have to LIVE in Scotland  ;)
