Great excitment, Lardy, my ewe with the enormous udder is the first to give birth. She's had 3 enormous triplets about 20 mins ago, all up and doing well, I've taken photos but i haven't a clue how to put them on here so may have to wait till next weekend when my daughter is home. i have a feeling it may be a busy night

We weighed them, first a ram lamb 3.5kg, ewe 4.2kg last another ram 4.3kg. I don't know why we didn't weigh in pounds but i converted it and she was carrying 26 and a half pounds of lambs inside her no wonder she was huge. she delivered them really easily hardly seemed to push at all. My middle child was 9lbs that's nearly three of her, amazing.

I'm afraid I only have a zoom lense, so it is very difficult to get a good picture. Here are the triplets, 20 minutes old.

They're wiltshire horn, amazingly by the following morning one of the boys already appeared to have little horns, i could feel the lumps when he was born.
Here's a pic of our latest to be turned out. We've had 3 sets of twins since the triplets, it's going well but they're taking their time.

that's correct no shearing, they do look a bit of a mess when they're shedding. I notice you have romneys, what are their feet like? our ground is quite marshy in the winter and i think i will be breeding for sound feet as some of ours get very long hooves by lambing time. we have a zwartbles pet sheep and her feet cope with the wet very well.

We have Wiltshires and they do look scruffy when they're shedding but such a lovely creamy colour underneath.  I'm trying to gather the wool for felting but I've never tried it before so it will be a bit of an experiment.
