Wanted Berkshire Boar
« on: March 05, 2013, 11:24:13 am »
Hi

Does anyone have a registered Berkshire boar for hire or sale?  I live near Sudbury in Suffolk.  I'd like to use him on my pedigree sows and gilts so a young boar would be fine.  I'm struggling to find one that isn't over 100 miles from me.

Many thanks

Have you tried looking on the Berkshire website. berkshirepigs.org.uk

Yes thanks, I've tried there and the BPA website, phoned loads of people, but I'm waiting to hear back from Barlings they may have something suitable bit further than I wanted to go, but I've bought from them before and they have good stock.
