« on: February 04, 2014, 06:04:54 pm »
Hi everyone,

Does anyone on TAS either have or know if someone else has any dexter's for sale, preferably as close as possible to us in NE Scotland ?

We're looking for cow with calf at foot and in calf with another cow / cow in calf / cow with calf at foot and in calf or any other similar combination.

Preferably non-short as well.

Castlemilk Moorit sheep and Belted Galloway cattle, plus other hangers on.

Hi, we get dexter beef from a guy who farms up here in Caithness. I could find his details if you want to sound him out ?

il say this before anyone one else - have you considered shetlands? they are very mellow, small, live out and are easy for beginners.

anyway, good luck in your search.

Just have both Dexters and Shetlands like me
Linda

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

I am south of you, but am selling alot of my cows, i have sold many of the calves but still have 1 cow and calf. lots of in calf cows, and some heifers for eating.

get in touch if you want to know more.

transport is usually easy if you find a haulier looking for back loads usually cheaper than collecting it your self.

Would recommend Beedie Bros for transporting, they were very good with our two girls when they went off to Caithness, they are Aberdeen area and were good price too.
