Hello
« on: November 20, 2021, 09:22:47 pm »
Hi, I thought it time to introduce myself having lurked but not posted on here for a year. Were now living in North Devon, near Barnstaple and have resumed smallholding after a 15 year pause when work got in the way! Having now retired after 40 years telling farmers what to do as an agronomist Im now putting it into practice! Were starting gently, we have 20 Shetland sheep (8 ewes,2 ram lambs and 10 wethers as lawnmowers/food), a few chickens, ducks and a couple of rhea, we brought horses with us. We intend to restore the woodland pig pen to its former glory eventually but as Im sure youre all only too aware time just seems to fly by when youre farming!

Well @Forestlens I note you are settling into the forum nicely, but it seems we didn't actually say "welcome".  Your venture sounds great - good luck with it.
