My lot have either Broccoli or Cabbage to peck at every day.

They go ape for meal worms

They have no interest in brussel sprouts (bit like myself) or sunflower seeds

mine like tomatoes, cucumber, cooked rice and artificial worms we call them( the 10p packets of instant noodles from either adsa or tesco, soaked till soft DONT add the packet of flavouring) they go mad for them, just been out blackberry picking and the chickens like them also

The only things I wouldn't suggest giving your chickens to eat is Onions / critus ... this can sometimes have strange effects on the taste of your eggs lol ... apart from that any fruit and veg will be welcomed by them :)

I had some of the best tasting eggs I had ever had from my chicks and we used to feed them just about everything fruit and veg wise... potato peelings, ends of carrots .. absolutely everything.

Would love to see some pics of your chicks :D

If you have bacon rind or fat from a boiling bacon joint chop it into cubes and they will go mad for it. One note of caution though don't feed it late at night because they will get very thirsty from the salt. Make sure they have access to water when you give it to them. But by golly they will love you for it!!

mine love pasta, cooked potato skins (well cooked potato anything!!) sweetcorn, plums (!) porridge, fresh goats milk mixed, berries, fish fingers (as scarlett found out when they nicked her ready meal   ;D  )

i think chocolate or uncooked potato is toxic to them and defra give out a load of rules about what you cant' feed but sometimes if it accidentally falls of our plate into their run it can't be helped!
