What can pigs eat
« on: March 15, 2018, 12:05:45 pm »
Hello,

I have grazed with pigs before Gloucester Olds Spots, Middle whites and Saddlebacks and had no issues. I graze outdoors to remove large areas of bramble.

I have a new parcel on land which I need to graze but it has Cherry Laurel on which I know to have a poisonous berries. I believe the roots to be fine, containing nothing that could harm my pigs.

Anyone had any dealings with anything like this before, your help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Olly :pig:

It may be worth you contacting the Royal Horticultural Society for advice.

Thanks, I have spoken to a horticultural expert, just wanted to know if there was anyone out there who had grazed areas of woodland with the likes of Rhody. Thanks
