The Bodge! remarkably stable for what it is and secured hebridean cross sheep fine! But no longer as went to market this week as they wouldnt stay where they were meant to - no respect whatsoever for electric rope with 10000 volts! They didn't like it and were very wary - the process was to stare at it for a while to switch it off , back up and take a run up and dive through the gaps!
Anyway, was off on a tangent then! New posts mainly chestnut rammed in as required - bigger centres than you would ever use on a new fence. this is a bodge remeber! road pins weaved through the floppy bits. Only refixed a tiny section so far but just the posts alone before even fixing to have made a big difference - some of this old fence was flat on ground. Once all secured new run of barbed wire near top on back of posts. Then let nature take it's course - brambles on some already. New sheep planned (less goat like and bigger that can't dive through electric rope!) will maintain hopefully, if not brushcutter once a year as it creeps........
