Hello From Spain
« on: September 09, 2008, 01:51:28 pm »
We have a small farm in Spain & are looking to sell up & move back to England & have a smallholding there. We have chickens, pigs, ducks, turkeys & goats which we breed, slaughter & butcher ourselves.  The meat is for our own consumption only & we produce our own cheese, milk etc as well as growing our own fruit & ver & making our own wine.

We are looking for any advice on the best website to sell our farm & also where we can find info on the UK laws regarding animal welfare & slaughter as I suspect we will not be able to slaughter our own animals in the UK!

Hi
Don't know where to sell your farm but your first port of call on animal welfare in uk would be the Defra website.

Crikey, given the weather here you might get someone wanting to swap with you!

Anglo info is a great site for information.  I am sure you will find out about selling your farm on there.

Welcome to TAS anyway.

Hi Ellie

We are in the region of Murcia in a place called Totana which is 20 mins from the nearest beaches at Mazarron.

Why come back. All we get here is rain, rain, rain, rain and drizzle and maybe if you look quick, a ufo in the sky that is really an impersonation of the sun.
But you will be jolly welcome on this site. :) :)
