Goose eggs
« on: March 16, 2018, 05:01:44 pm »
Our geese have just started laying for this year, but we are not letting them sit.  Having to kill some of our beautiful birds last year was horrible; better to forgo the wonder of having gorgeous goslings around to avoid the culling.
If anyone would like to hatch some, they are £1 each, but we couldn't send them through the post, so collection only, sorry.  They are Shetlands, and the eggs hatch in about 28-30 days. We are in South Lanarkshire, southern Scotland, not far from the M74.

The first goose egg tells me that Spring really is on the way  :excited:
