Carrs ovitrace bolus do not have b1 in them .    Sheep produce b1 naturally in the gut and a deficiency is on an individual basis ( CCN ) mostly in young sheep , and you  can buy straight B1 injection to treat it  more efficiently than combivit . Certain min & vit drenches have B1 in them  and some licks  , but no method of supply will have long lasting effects

We had a problem with CCN last autumn in our nearly finished lambs, treated with IV combivit in the affected lamb and injection of combivit into the muscle for the others in that grazing group and made sure they had a lick bucket with vitb1 in it. Touch wood not had any more problems, but I always make sure all sheep have lick buckets with vitb1 in- mole valley are best for this.

Our ewes were in good condition so we only started feeding last weekend (4 weeks until lambing) however as the growth of the lambs had started to kick in they had dropped condition score so thats why we started last week.
