garden fertiliser/moss killer...harm to hoggetts ?
« on: February 22, 2017, 04:11:03 pm »
Sprinkled some of Wilkinsons moss/weedkiller/fertiliser on my lawn yesterday...hoping for the subsequent rain to wash it in...
This afternoon arrived home to find neighbouring hoggetts from adjacent field tucking into the grass on my lawn .Is it likely to have done them any harm?

Product spec states 'Contains iron sulphate, calcium dihydrogen orthophosphate. Harmful if swallowed. Causes serious eye damage.'.  I'd tell the sheep's owner pronto, and give him/her the packaging if you still have it.
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
