goose eggs started to hatch!
« on: May 13, 2010, 09:47:17 pm »
After such a long wait two of the four developed eggs in the incubator have started hatching this evening with holes about 5mm across!
I'm keeping them moist as advised to soften the shells to make it easy for them. Went back about four hours later - holes marginally bigger and cheeping noise could be heard from inside. I know that most of you have seen this all before but this is our first time - it's FANTASTIC!!!!
