Am I just being paranoid?
« on: April 23, 2016, 06:41:59 pm »
We have a bottled fed lamb that has been weaned and eats hay and some green grass. Every day he usually goes crazy eating like constantly. But today he will eat when I come around and when I give him green grass, when I leave him he just sits down. Just something is off about him today not sure if is just the weather like a storm coming or if there is something wrong with him. He is pooping and peeing and chewing cud just not himself. Any ideas could be I'm just being wacko?

Have you checked his temperature?  If normal you could be just worrying but if raised he could be going down with something like pneumonia.

Temperature is normal. His ears are alittle droopy but eating and drinking. What are other signs for pneumonia?

So, at the risk of sounding equally wacko, does he have company? Could he be sad/lonely?

We thought that too maybe. But we are always in the yard and our dog is usually close by him. We tried putting him with the other sheep but the ewes ram him too much so hopefully when he gets older and tougher.
