Anyone know of a good vegetarian cookbook?
« on: November 18, 2015, 11:16:40 am »
My sister has just told me that she is going vegetarian and wants a cookbook for Christmas.
Any suggestions for a good book with nice pictures?

Rose Elliot has written some good books which I have used a lot. There are pictures as well as good recipes.

I was trying to find a link for you but haven't got one yet.
rose elliots books always look good, but several times and even other people have tried to follow the recipes and it tastes rubbish.....

The Good Housekeeping cookbook recipes work and don't include things like dried raspberries and a pinch of sumach powder.

I agree with Clare Cranks is excellent. Hugh Fiercely Eatsitall's Veg Every Day is also very good.

I was going to buy online but I think I will go into a book shop first and look at those books recommended.
