Hi everyone,

any idea where you can purchase roosting bars on their own?

Cheers,

Only need 2/3 - like the sound of using branches though!

Broom handle, or handle of any old gardening tool. Or a dowel.

there you go, its what smallholding is all about to me - reusing reduce recycle!
as long as the things that we put to use around the place are safe for others and
the animals.

I got three round rods about an inch in diameter with my whelping box for Belle.  The holes in the box were set too low so I took them out (the pups were getting stuck under them instead of rolling right under out of her way)  Used them as perches in the chicken shed

mine are Curtain poles,
at the old house they used a small trailer for perching, and it had intergrated nest boxes
