new sheep and shearing *help*
« on: March 16, 2010, 12:32:53 pm »
hi new to this site and keeping sheep. only had them for a day and already thinking about the shearing. 3 castrated rams, last years stock with horns!
anyway are there any shearers or practising shearers available in the gloucestershire area willing to shear 3?

i'm in Stroud. had a word with the farmer up the road and got to see him mid May and might send his shearer down.
i'm just trying to make provisional arrangements for the time being

Hello spikey_fridge,

I might be able to arrange to shear them if you would like. I have got some to shear near Bicester so would be able to fit you in at the same time. I don't know when yet though, let me know if you are interested and I can look at dates.

Hope this helps,
Philip

No problem :)

If anyone else in the area wants a few doing I'm happy travel around a bit. The more I can get in one area, the cheaper I can do the job.
