My neighbour has always maintained that the worst part of the lambing season happens at the beginning! That was certainly true of my experience last year when I lost one of twin lambs from the first ewe to lamb and indeed, the previous year, when we had dead twins from the first ewe. On both occasions the rest of lambing was fine. My neighbour who lambs around 200 ewes assured me that this is usually the 'rule of thumb'. Hopefully things will be OK from now Tirdu. Good luck!
