why might my lambs be colicing from the same ewe?
« on: March 03, 2015, 09:08:48 am »
Anyone shed some light on why two new born lambs might have colic symptoms both from the same ewe.

I've given them infant colic/ gripe treatment and seems to be working.

Infection, digestive problems, bad milk... could be a number of things.  Sorry can't be of more help  :-[

What exactly are the symptoms? If bloated it could be watery mouth.

I might try a/bs, could be an infection.  And I'd feed electrolytes.  They'll have had their colostrum before this started?

Right, no temps. Definitely a hole, they did have rather a lot of what I call custardy poo.

Could it be possible that they have gorged themselves?

They haven't done it again
