Hi, I am looking for some movement forms, I can only see them in PDF format for downloading but I thought multiple copies were required for each transaction - any advise on where you can actually get a full pad ? thanks in advance, Keith

I understand you can get them at livestock markets, but as I generally don't go to those I rang my local Trading Standards office (where we used to send the completed forms to) and they sent me half a dozen but said if I wanted to call in after the holiday, they would give me a wadge of them. Their office is much nearer to me than a livestock market.

Nothing wrong with printing same more than once or copying, is there?  Send off a signed copy, keep one yourself.

If you want the proper versions, livestock markets have them.

we got a full pad of triplicate forms from SAMU (Scottish Animal Movement Unit) so depending on where abouts in the country you are there will be an equivalent?
keeper of goats, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats, goldfish and children, just don't ask me which is the most work!

If you are in Scotland, either SAMU or your local department office will give you a triplicate pad, not sure about other countries though.
These are the Scottish offices:

When I need a new book I phone the local serad office, it could be DEFRA for you, but they post them out that day.

There's always a big box of forms left on a table in the reception area of our livestock market.  As you need a hard copy of the form anyway you might as well save on your own printer ink.
