I have discovered the best bait ever!

Small peice of a Percy pig sweety dampen it slightly and mash it onto the trap. Think I'm up to 17 this season. Better than peanut butter, chocolate and snickers bar. It reels them in, they can't resist.

We use traps in the cupboard in the bathroom for keeping on top of mices.
We use the B&Q traps and the attractant paste that they sell and I have to say that it seems to do the trick very well.

I never have any trouble keeping on top of mice in house , or a small shed , but these are out in the allotments and there are lots , and I mean 100's
