grumpy calves eventualy

 :wave: one of my pedigree herefords had a nice big bull calf tonight :excited:  . i bought her last year calf at foot and been running with the bull .i was late picking them up just aswell or she wouldnt have been in calf . from when i picked them up her last possible due date should have been yesterday . bull must have gave her a parting gift just before i put her in trailer  :roflanim: (kids called her grumpy as she has a constant grumpy look on her face :D

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

 :wave: sent david another pic to put on for me to show the size of him he is huge . she did well to get it out on her own both doing well  :thumbsup: . think she may still be a bit grumpy for a few days after pushing him out  :roflanim:

thanks guys .we are well pleased got to laugh at the photo the wee lass is wearing an eye patch(although she lifted it for a better look) to show the calf shes its pall as it has a patch on one eye  :D
