They should be good little layers - I gave a few to the girl who used to help me in the house, they started just around Christmas and she has been getting 5 from 5  :thumbsup:

Of course if you find some land for yourself you can get one of the boys back on loan and produce an entire DBE bloodline on demand, clearly there is demand.. ;)

the hunt for land is on south of the river, my aim currently is a house with a large garden and a more serious chicken enterprise...
