I love children, they make me smile when they are chattering to each other, and playing, but quite often can come out with the most funny things.

Have you any little stores to tell us about things your children have said or done?

When I told my oldest Chris, that we were getting weaners, he smiled a shy sort of smile and said 'I've already got one of those!'

if you say mannors in this house it doesn't mean politeness, it means male parts. an it really funny if you say the word in an innocence sentence!!!

while away on hoilday,
T said he had enought food so i told him to 'put it to one side' and he started to eat again but this time with his head tilted to one side both me and tam 'ask what you doing' . his reply was 'am putting the food to one side' and patted his stomach under his arm.

so hard not to laught !!!!!

My two make me laugh on a daily basis, they're just nuts

One incident that sticks in my mind though, it was a nice day and the kids were still in the garden about 8pm, I'd been trying to get them in for ages but they were having none of it ! I was getting attacked by midgies and could take no more (they were launching themselves into my eyes - the only part of me not covered in skin so soft lol!) The kids were at the top end of the garden, so I shouted up that I was going in cos the midgies were eating me alive and told them they could have 10 more minutes before coming in. Well, there was an almighty scream from Rebecca (who was 5 at the time) and she bombed past me and straight into the house, trying to lock the door before I could even get there ! When I got her calmed down and asked what was the matter she told me (through her tears) that she didn't want to be eaten

They're just soooooo literal, it ALWAYS makes me laugh

my nephews grand daughter was at the zoo and saw some buffalos. He asked her what they were doing. she said "roaming,silly!!"

When Tara was four we had a Donkey called Moses, she asked me one day
why he had a fifth leg!

We explained to her about boy animal and girl animal differences at a young age
to save embarrasing questions - she accepted it well and always listend to Joe.

One day the vet came, and was drawing a picture of a male boars bits on the dust in
his van to explain the problem to Joe.

Three weeks later, we were driving through the village, and the vet speeded past us.

Tara started laughing out loud, we asked her what was funny?

She said " the vet is still driving around with a picture of Oscar's Balls on the side
of his van".

Well - we cried laughing all the way to Longford.
