You folks on here that sell sausages to the public, do you make your own, or get butcher to make and then sell? Also what food hygiene regs are there about making bangers and then selling them? Thanks

If you want to sell meat or meat products you make yourself you'll need to get your premises approved by your local environmental health dept. If you contact them and tell them what you want to do they will give you all the advice you need.  You'll need to consider who you'll be selling to also. There are more regulations and hoops to jump through if you sell to shops, restaurants etc than if you sell direct to the consumer.
If you have the meat processed by a butcher and simply sell it yourself  there are less hoops to jump through but then you will very likely just be working to make the butcher a living.
