scrap metal

Hi

we have a big, working safe (key) and a large, solid metal mechanic's workbench that we need rid of and a couple of other items. I've a scrap merchant coming to look at it the weekend but not sure what/if they are worth anything. we need them gone, but can't move them ourselves. does anyone have any ideas? could certainly use any money from them but have no clue  ??? how/what to ask or start/if to haggle!

It will be in weight so try phoning a few scrap places to see what the rates are at the moment.
If you are guessing the weight, remember a sack of feed weighs 25kg, it's always helps me, . Lol

thanks-except we can't budge either of them, even a little bit  ;D even with both of us shoving them.
