I am looking to rent a large block of land, ideally with a house and ideally on a long agreement primarily for sheep and also a couple of ponies. If anyone knows of anything in any area of Britain (north England, Wales or Scotland preferred) please let me know. Have tried tendering for a few with various estates but after being second choice for the last 3 after going through all of the lengthy application procedures, interview and home visits, I am disheartened with the whole process which seems to favour those coming straight from a parents farm. Would much therefore rather rent something privately.

Looking for upwards of 40 acres ideally but any thing considered.
