Its a lovely day here so just been blackberry picking. Why are the best fruits always just out of reach?

I used a hook thingie to pull them towards me. Have wondered about taking the loppers out too and cutting branches off.

The trouble is, if it all goes pear-shaped then it's not the most comfortable landing and the berries you've picked disappear into the depths of the thicket, as do you..........I know

and I'm not that agile these days so probably best staying with those I can reasonably reach
