hello from the Conwy Valley
« on: August 12, 2013, 02:17:20 pm »
hello
I have been lurking around here for a while, learning an awful lot, but as I'm depending on the advice I find here more and more, I thought I'd say hello properly.
We moved out here to a lovely spot with just under 5 acres last November, leaving behind a London flat, so I am really very new to all this!
Arrived here with a dog (rescue Staffie mix) & 4 cats, soon got a bunch of Warren hens, and more recently added 4 Soay sheep to the lot (surprised myself a bit here, didn't quite expect to fall in love with sheep!)
Also hoping to get 2 donkeys soon - would love to make them work on my inaccessible field.

Looking forward to keep learning from all of you  :)

Certainly the best thing I ever done!!
It's quite a learning curve, having been a townie all my life, but strangely I feel totally at home :)
