Greyface Dartmoors for Sale (West Wales)
« on: August 30, 2013, 01:09:55 am »
In preparation for the next season lambing we need to reduce the size of our Greyface Dartmoor flock quite a bit. Consequently we have up to 20-25 purebred ewes (various ages), yearlings and ewe lambs for sale. All are registered (or at least the lambs will be in due course).  We've also got ram lambs for sale (!). We are looking to keep and register 2 (one could be for sale).

Lambs are from two different GFD rams, both of high quality - one Langford and one Hillside (the sire of last years champion GFD ram).

Everybody has been Heptovacced, Clik'd for flystrike and wormed.  All were sheared in July so they are a bit short in the wool at present (although it is now starting to grow strongly again). In the meantime however they don't look much like the classic images of GFDs, especially the lambs!

We are happy to tup ewes or yearlings with either ram before they leave if you like.

PM me with your requirements if you are interested and we can discuss. Note that they have all grown up together and are very sociable so we won't sell singles and would prefer to sell them in small groups (or large ones!). We are situated on the border of Carmathenshire and Pembrokeshire, about 40 miles or so west of Swansea.
