Glut of eating cherries
« on: July 24, 2013, 06:21:11 pm »
Despite having lived at our current house for over 7 years we have never had more than a handful of cherries from some old cherry trees that were part of an orchard many years ago.  However, this year they are fruiting loads.  Can I use eating cherries in a similar way to morello or sour cherries?  Any suggestions ad recipes very welcome.

Yes, you can use them in cooking. Why not try bottling them or freezing some?
