Any recommendations for a smallish flail mower?

Thinking about stretching to buy a smallish - around 1.5m (5') flail mower.

Could use our Kubota 50hp (preferred) or a bigger tractor 90hp if we needed to.

Anybody recommend a particular make / cost. Offset facility would be handy.

Your right the offset function is very handy. it all comes down to money as usual. Always buy the best you can afford. If you go second hand, watch for bad bearings as this will end up knackering the main shaft. always but one with a roller. Mconnel / ryetec / kuhn / bomford are all good makes.

If considering new take a look at INO imported by Willow Farm machinery

I believe that they are rebadged by other manufacturers and sold under their names in the UK as well

Been very pleased with mine.

Ok thanks all.

The INO ones look quite well thought of when you look around.

I'll give Willow Farm Machinery a call as the range looks quite confusing - too much choice!

What do you reckon the price will be for say a 1.5metre one roughly?

Just under £2000 + VAT (for a guess) a tad more for sideshift

Mine (MMT150) was around £1800 from memory when I bought it.
