As we are going away tomorrow, my girls are being boarded out. This evening is the first time that I have not seent hem when I look out the window and I'm pining.

What makes it worse is the dogs have also gone to their holiday homes. I hate being without animals.

You enjoy your holiday - the goats will be looked after just fine - and they will probably enjoy a change of scene too!!

I would imagine home feeling strange without the animals . Keep yourself busy for now MGoM and have a great time away.

Have a wonderful wedding and great time, I bet all of us pine more for our animals when away from them than we would for our partners

I would hate to have a life without some animal or other to cuddle and look after!!! They are going to be in good hands and I bet they will also miss you

I am just the same. We only go away for a week as that is more than long enough . I start to worry around day 3 . The lady who looks after the place is more than able to handle everything but I miss the ponies and the chickens. OH is so understanding which is just as well.
