Hi Everyone. We bought a new Scots Grey cockeral this winter. If anyone would like fertilized eggs I'll pop them in the post for £12 per 6.
Thanks OEH

Hi, sorry should've said. They're large fowl.

We've got 18 in the incubator. Why does 3 weeks seem so long...

cool-I will definitely be up for a couple of growers this year  :) are yours autosexing? I am waiting for some to come out of the incy-your hens crossed with one of Brittannic's cockerels.

Whats autosexing? ???  I found them quite easy to sex once their feathers were in. The girls are quite a lot darker than the boys. I'll let you know what I get out of this batch. There are 18 in the incubator due to hatch next week and I put 6 under a broody hen last night  :fc: .

the boys are a bit lighter and have a gold spot on their heads at hatching, the girls are darker and plain, black heads.
