Elvis the lamb - is it too soon?
« on: April 07, 2013, 10:18:58 am »
My first born lamb was one of triplets and had a wobbly leg which reminded me of a rock and roll singer. This quickly wore off but not before he earnt the name Elvis.
Despite being little and wobbly at birth he has turned into a bouncy, bonny little chap with an indipendent spirit. He has a mind of his own and goes where he pleases, much to the distess of me and his mum. Yesterday he went to sleep in the chicken coop, chassed the hens, tried to climb a tree, got stuck trying to scramble though the electric fencing and abandoned his mum and his brother Buddy to have a sleep over with another ewe and her twins.
Some of you will be aware from my blog that I already have a very naughty sheep called Nelly. What I want to know is, is it too soon to conclude that Elvis also posseses the naughty gene?
Here he is with his coloured brother Buddy, looking likebutter wouldnt melt!
