Hi

im a 31 year old woman looking to find an allotment near or in fauldhouse, i dont drive so the closer the better or if theres anybody wishing to team up with me and share that would be great

. I have at the moment my own greenhouse that i potter about in to grow some fruit and veg

and im hoping to get my self some chickens as well

Try your local allotment association. There may be people willing to share a plot which has become too much for them

there are allotments in Livingston opposite the first bus depo in Deans and some at Linlithgow at a new site. Deansmeadow allotments in Livingston has a facebook page and you could contact them through that. They operate a waiting list but due to people moving away (including me) it is not very long. Although a council site it is run by the plotholders and the rent is about £40 for a full plot and £20 for half a plot.
