I have just found this forum while looking for info on keeping chickens. I live in Spain and a few months ago decided to go native and have some chucks. Having never owned any before I am flying by the seat of my pants, so will be needing all the help I can get from all you fountains of knowledge!  ;D

Hi to all we live in Almaria province and its very warm today its about 25 at the moment and hotter in the hen house, we are in the process of putting up a sun shade (helped by the five chichens in the run). Things do seem to be settling down a little since we took out the worse one (also known as Ma). I was really upset when I saw how horrible my lovely girls were being, I hope it settles soon because they have been a joy to have and great fun, the best 'pets' I have ever had.
