  I always planned to go to glastonbury in our VW, used to drive past all the time and get watched by Mr Plod...but never made it, we have T in the Park up here and Rock Ness, T in the Park is around 10 miles from our house and I did not go when my bestest band in the world played  "Prodigy"" well thats it then...have fun it looks a great line up...shame I am not going..I will miss out on wet mud and cold and pooey toilets but hey, I can do that here!!

Ah but when you are mates with someone who lives 100 yds from the site, you get a warm bed, a wood burner and clean shower and toilets ;)

Been to V festival but not Glasto! Why is it ok for blokes to pee up against a fence but not a girl? The security guards don't like it for some reason?!?

Perhaps we should start taking orders now
Does anybody need a new tent/sleeping bag/ inflatable mattress/briefcase camping stove/gazebo etc etc ?

Hundreds of thousands of people camp at the festival every year.
6 people take their stuff home with them ::)
Any of the above is left there in obscene amounts. >:(

We used to live not far from Glastonbury and the festival coincides with our wedding anniversary weekend when we would try to get away for a night.  For three years running we headed west, only remembering the festival was on when we got stuck in miles of stationary vehicles.
