Apologies for blowing my own trumpet but that's 3lbs of strawbs picked already from 12 plants, with later season ones still fruiting & only planted last autumn. Chuffed as a chuffin' chuffed thing wot is rather chuffed about being chuffed.  ;D

I had five for tea last night and they were lovely. More ripe for tomorrow's breakfast.

Anybody see H F-W last night?  He did heaps of really unusual things with strawbs that I thought would be disgusting but folk seemed to enjoy them. http://www.channel4.com/food/on-tv/river-cottage/river-cottage-2009/index.html
