is it nearly time for me to see the lovely lady goats ;D   Not quite Darren!!  He has been standing at the gate showing an interest these last few days.  He will be a busy boy in a few weeks .....5 AN females, plus the goatling - Carina, and Poppy, our Sanaan x BA.

Oh, he says he maybe accomodate a few more ladies ....if they are pretty of course.  He is enjoying his last bit of freedom, as he will have to be housed now, once the girls are in season.  He is a perfect gentleman, its the females who try to get to him!!!

Is there any chance you could get Darren to have a word with William and tell him all about the birds and the bees  ::)

Just got this image of a very camp goat in my mind, with a limp hoof and a wiggle.   :roflanim:

Darren had me worried, as he was 18 months old last Autumn, and ignored the females even when they were in the next field, and I did wonder if he was keen, but when the time came, he covered two of our females, and produced 4 female and 2 males, so that was good.  The pygmy boys on the other hand are both raring to go all the time!!
