That's a good idea.
The birds have been quite successful around here this year, I currently have fledgling swallows flapping round my ears in the goat byre and the coal shed. The house martins have picked a sensible window overhang to build in so haven't been washed away half way through like last year - I can't open that window now but hey - and judging by the number of small blue tits, great tits, chaffinches, robins and sparrows it's been a good year for them too
I presume the jackdaws have done well too, given the immense numbers
Just need the luck to extend to my geese and runner ducks, currently sitting, now
