Hi all, I know you shouldn't count before hatched, however, as long as the currently pipping eggs continue through to hatching we are going to be faced with various choices - under a heat lamp (indoors) then out in 2 weeks, or put a broody goose( who has no eggs ) in with the newly hatched and monitor closely, or put them in an unheated outside enclosure with the goose and monitor closely. The goslings are eventually going to face the outside threat of magpies/ rats/ small but determined ginger cat/ buzzards. We reckon if we can persuade the goose to get involved they will have a much better chance. Any thoughts/ similar experiences please?
