what is this please and is this poisonous to sheep??

Please can anyone tell me what this is please as we have several appearing around the edges of our field.

lords and ladies we called it - arum maculatum - poisonous to humans so presumably to sheep but v bitter so not much is likely to be eaten

.....but don't be so sure, not after my sheep/rhodedendron fiasco...better out than in  ;)
registered soay, castlemilk moorit  and north ronaldsay sheep, pygmy goats, steinbacher geese, muscovy ducks, various hens, lots of visiting mallards, a naughty border collie, a puss and a couple of guinea pigs

thanks Simon, will go out now and pull up what i find just in case. there was a couple of leaves in the part where the sheep were but they have eaten all around it,
so sorry to hear your story goosepimple, and as you say better safe than sorry.
